Ziad Hamdy is the Audit & Advisory Partner at Nearshore Middle East, where he leads the firm’s audit, IFRS advisory, financial reporting, and financial due diligence practices.
With more than 20 years of experience across audit, financial advisory, IFRS implementation, corporate finance, and executive finance leadership, Ziad supports multinational groups, regional businesses, and growth-stage companies in addressing complex reporting, assurance, and transaction-related matters.
Before joining Nearshore Middle East, Ziad served as Chief Financial Officer of Nile Air and began his professional career at Ernst & Young Egypt, where he worked with major clients across multiple industries. His combined experience as an auditor, advisor, trainer, and former CFO enables him to bring both technical depth and practical business perspective to client engagements.
Ziad is also a recognized regional trainer, having delivered more than 10,000 hours of professional training in IFRS, CPA, CMA, and ACCA programs.

May Eliwa is an FAAS & Tax Partner at Nearshore Middle East, advising multinational companies and growing businesses on tax strategy, transactions, finance transformation, and business growth across Egypt and the GCC.
May supports clients in navigating complex tax and transaction-related matters, optimizing tax structures, and strengthening financial operations. Her work spans transaction support, tax advisory, financial due diligence, finance transformation, and strategic advisory for mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and expansion initiatives.
She began her career with a Top 10 international audit firm before joining Ernst & Young Egypt, where she led audit engagements for multinational companies and provided IFRS advisory services across diverse industries.
May combines strong technical expertise in tax, accounting, and financial advisory with practical delivery experience, helping clients manage risk, improve financial performance, and execute strategic growth plans.
